Journalists from CNN, MS NOW and Politico were allowed back onto White House grounds Thursday, hours after a federal judge blocked President Donald Trump’s decision to bar the three organizations from the premises.
The outlets’ reporters and photographers were initially denied entry early Thursday despite the ruling, according to The Hill. Politico also reported that the organizations remained barred following the court decision. Access was restored later in the day, the media organizations said.
CNN senior reporter Betsy Klein entered the White House on Sept. 24, The Guardian reported. The ruling followed a hearing in which the judge questioned a Justice Department attorney about the administration’s national security justification for the ban, according to CNN.
