Stories are ranked by a score that weighs how many outlets covered them most heavily, plus
article volume and recency. Each is written by a language model from those outlets’ headlines,
summaries and, where the publisher allows it, the article itself, then edited by a second model
that may only cut, attribute or correct against the same sources. That is an automated check,
not fact-checking, and no person reads a story before it is published. Follow the outlets for
the original reporting.
