Human remains found near the site where Texas State University student Jason Landry left behind a crashed car have been identified as his, according to the Texas attorney general’s office. Landry had been missing since 2020, and the identification comes nearly six years after his disappearance.

The search for Landry has ended, but the investigation into what happened to him remains open, KHOU reported.
