Rockstar Games has announced a $399.99 Grand Theft Auto VI collector’s set built around Vice City-themed merchandise, but the package does not include a physical copy or digital code for the game.
Called *Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection*, the box contains 11 items inspired by the in-game television show Macca the Gator. They include a Macca figure with a compartment in its base, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a New Era snapback hat, a crossbody bag, a magnetic mirror, a swizzle spoon, a razor-blade-shaped keychain, a shot glass, an enamel pin set, stickers and a double-sided poster depicting the fictional state of Leonida.
The collection is available for preorder and is scheduled to arrive November 19, alongside the game’s digital release. Buyers must purchase GTA 6 separately for PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S. Engadget reported that the Standard Edition costs $80 and the Ultimate Edition costs $100.
Some Xbox customers have said they used Xbox Mastercard points or Microsoft Rewards to cover all or part of a preorder. Engadget estimated that redeeming about 100,000 Microsoft Rewards points for gift cards could cover the Ultimate Edition. Separately, several outlets reported competing claims about whether GTA 6 preorders are concentrated on PlayStation 5, with an Xbox executive responding that the game is also breaking Xbox preorder records.
