Taylor Swift has released an “Encore” deluxe edition of *The Life of a Showgirl*. A music video for the song features Dakota Johnson, who said she appreciated being directed by Swift and that the two artists respect each other’s creative perspectives, according to Variety and Yahoo.
People described “Patient Zero” as a song about escaping a toxic relationship. Yahoo separately reported that some listeners viewed its lyrics as an apparent reference to Swift’s former partner Joe Alwyn and criticized what the outlet characterized as revisionist history.
Variety also reviewed the deluxe album’s new tracks, while Billboard announced that the expanded release was available to stream.
