Akamai Technologies has agreed to provide cloud-computing services to artificial intelligence company Anthropic under a seven-year deal valued at $11.6 billion, according to Reuters and The Wall Street Journal. Bloomberg and MarketWatch described the agreement as worth about $12 billion.

Reuters reported that Akamai also granted Anthropic a warrant allowing it to acquire a stake of up to 5% in the cloud-services provider. Akamai’s shares rose following news of the agreement, MarketWatch reported.
