Apple is expected to unveil updated versions of the HomePod mini, iPad mini and Apple TV 4K before the end of 2026, according to details and images found in the company’s code by MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris.
Images of the apparent HomePod mini 2 show a design similar to the original model, which debuted in 2020. The speaker appeared in subdued green, pink, blue, white and black finishes.
The leaked iPad mini 8 appears to move its front-facing camera to the tablet’s landscape edge and upgrade from the A17 Pro processor to Apple’s A20 Pro chip. A groove along the top of the display may indicate an additional speaker. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously reported that a future iPad mini could gain an OLED display and improved water resistance through a vibration-based speaker system.
The apparent fourth-generation Apple TV 4K retains a form factor similar to the current model, but the latest images reveal little about its internal upgrades. Earlier findings by Perris pointed to a possible A17 Pro processor, while Gurman previously reported that the device would use Apple’s in-house wireless chip, now known as the N1.
Apple has not announced the devices or confirmed their specifications or release timing.
