The Telangana Chief Minister’s Office said music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Sunrisers Hyderabad CEO Kavya Maran will hold a wedding reception in Chennai on November 21.
In an October 16 post on X, the office said Sun Group chairman Kalanithi Maran and his wife, Kavery Maran, met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his Jubilee Hills residence and invited him to their daughter’s reception. The announcement is the clearest public confirmation of wedding plans after months of speculation, although neither Ravichander nor Kavya Maran has directly confirmed them.
The Indian Express, citing The Times of India, reported that the couple is expected to marry in Greece on November 11. That ceremony date and location remain unconfirmed by the couple or their families.
Earlier reports about their relationship had circulated online, and Ravichander dismissed marriage speculation in June 2025. More recently, his uncle, actor Y.G. Mahendran, said in an interview that the two were set to marry.
Kavya Maran, 28, is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran and serves as CEO and co-owner of the Indian Premier League franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. Ravichander is a composer known primarily for his work in Tamil cinema, including the forthcoming *Jailer 2*, produced by the Maran family’s Sun Pictures.
