A Houthi attack struck an administrative building at Saudi Aramco’s headquarters complex in Dhahran on Tuesday night, causing a limited fire but no casualties, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Ministry said.

A company source told Reuters that a ballistic missile hit an office tower and damaged its top three floors. The Saudi-led coalition separately said it had intercepted and destroyed a missile over Dhahran, with fragments falling in a residential area.

In Riyadh, debris from two intercepted Houthi cruise missiles injured four people — two women, a man and a child — and caused limited damage to 15 homes, according to Saudi Civil Defense. The coalition also reported intercepting drones and missiles over the capital and southern Saudi Arabia.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the group had targeted Aramco facilities in Dhahran, King Khalid International Airport and an Aramco refinery in Riyadh using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones. He said attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities would continue in the coming days.

The strikes came amid an escalating exchange between the Houthis and the Saudi-led coalition. The Houthis said their attacks were retaliation for Saudi-led strikes on Sanaa. The coalition said it had attacked an oil depot and other sites around the Yemeni capital to disrupt Houthi capabilities used to threaten Saudi Arabia, Yemen and regional waterways.
