Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff escaped unhurt after unidentified assailants opened fire as he was leaving a football session in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening, The Indian Express reported.
According to police, the attack occurred at about 7 p.m. near Pushpa Park as Shroff was getting into his car. Three men arrived on a motorcycle and opened fire. Shroff’s driver, Firdous, suffered minor injuries and was reported to be out of danger, while staff member Umesh Chavan sustained a bullet injury. Both were receiving hospital treatment.
Shroff later returned to his residence in a police jeep accompanied by officers. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg confirmed that the actor had not suffered any bullet injuries.
Mumbai Police deployed 15 teams to search for the attackers and began examining CCTV footage from the area to identify suspects and establish a motive. The Indian Express subsequently reported that the first CCTV images of the alleged shooters had emerged and that a motorcycle had been found near Andheri railway station. No arrests or suspected motive were reported.
