Israeli drone attacks killed at least six Palestinians across the Gaza Strip on Saturday, according to Palestinian medical and emergency workers cited by Al Jazeera. Middle East Eye, citing Gaza’s Health Ministry, reported an earlier toll of five people, including two children.
The attacks were reported in northern, central and southern Gaza. Palestinian news agency Wafa said a man was killed and several people were wounded near al-Faluja cemetery, west of Jabalia refugee camp. Another person was killed and several were injured in al-Mawasi, Rafah.
Staff at al-Shifa Hospital said two people were killed in Gaza City’s Tuffah neighbourhood. Witnesses told Al Jazeera they had been returning from the burial of a victim of an earlier attack. The hospital reported another death in eastern Gaza City, while Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said one person was killed and another injured in Deir el-Balah.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said six people were killed and 43 injured across the territory during the preceding 48 hours. It reported that 1,511 Palestinians had been killed and 5,375 injured since the US-brokered ceasefire was announced on October 10, 2025.
UNICEF spokesman Ricardo Pires said more than 340 children had been killed since the ceasefire began, including seven during the previous two weeks. He said at least 33 children were seriously injured in that period, while about 800,000 remained displaced.
