Kayem Foods Inc. has voluntarily recalled more than 1.5 million pounds of meat and poultry products nationwide because of possible temperature abuse, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.
The recall includes beef, pork and chicken products, with affected items including hot dogs, bacon and deli meat. Fenway Franks are among the products being recalled. The FSIS announced the recall on Saturday after the Chelsea, Massachusetts-based manufacturer identified the potential temperature issue.
