Indian companies reported mixed results for the September quarter, with strong gains at several industrial and technology businesses offset by weaker earnings at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.

Tata Consultancy Services’ net profit rose 15% to ₹13,884 crore, while revenue increased 11.78%, according to The Indian Express. Infosys posted a 6.2% rise in net profit to ₹7,823 crore and 10.7% revenue growth to ₹49,244 crore. It cut its FY27 revenue-growth forecast to 1%-2% from 1.5%-3%, citing subdued volumes, pricing pressure and weaker discretionary spending in retail and high technology. Coforge’s profit climbed 56.5% to ₹588.1 crore as revenue grew 53.6%, aided by its first full quarter consolidating Encora. The company raised its FY27 EBIT-margin guidance to 16%.

Adani Energy Solutions more than doubled net profit to ₹1,364 crore as revenue rose 51.3%, supported by its transmission and distribution businesses. Chennai Petroleum Corporation’s profit more than tripled to ₹2,271 crore after its gross refining margin increased to $20.41 a barrel from $9.04 a year earlier.

Tata Motors reported a ₹1,257 crore profit, reversing a year-earlier loss of ₹867 crore, while revenue rose 36%. It said its Iveco acquisition remained on schedule, with settlement planned for October 30 subject to completion of the tender offer.

IndusInd Bank returned to profit with ₹1,242 crore and reported improved asset quality. Dr. Reddy’s profit fell more than 31% to ₹913.2 crore as lower North American generics sales weighed on revenue.
