At least seven Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Sunday, according to reports from Al Jazeera, the Palestinian Wafa news agency and Middle East Eye.
Three security guards were killed in an airstrike on the Islamic University campus in Gaza City, Al Jazeera reported. It was the second attack on the campus within hours; an earlier drone strike injured seven female students, one seriously.
The Nasser Medical Complex said two people were killed by Israeli shelling in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, where several others, including a child, were wounded. Wafa reported further fatalities in central and northern Gaza. Accounts differed on details: Al Jazeera reported one person killed east of Deir el-Balah and another near Hamad Hospital on al-Rashid Street, while Middle East Eye, citing Wafa, said two people were killed in a drone strike in the al-Mazraa area east of Deir el-Balah. Several people were critically wounded there, Middle East Eye said.
The attacks occurred during a ceasefire brokered by the United States in October 2025. Gaza’s Health Ministry says more than 1,500 Palestinians have been killed and more than 5,500 injured since the ceasefire began. Israel says Hamas has been rearming and preparing attacks in violation of the agreement, an accusation Hamas denies.
