Connor Storrie is in talks to join Ryan Gosling in Marvel Studios’ upcoming “Ghost Rider” film, according to reports from Deadline, Variety and other outlets. Storrie, known for “Heated Rivalry,” is reportedly being considered to play a villain, though Marvel has not officially announced his involvement.
Gosling is set to lead the film, which is scheduled for 2028 and will be directed by Shawn Levy. The project was unveiled during a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con earlier this year. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige later told Empire that Gosling developed the vision for the movie and pitched the idea with Levy.
The Ghost Rider character, Johnny Blaze, is a motorcycle stuntman who sells his soul and becomes a supernatural agent of vengeance. Nicolas Cage previously played Blaze in 2007’s “Ghost Rider” and the 2011 sequel, “Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.”
The new film reunites Gosling and Levy after their work on “Starfighter.” Details about Storrie’s prospective character and the rest of the cast have not been announced.
