Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will join the returning *Junior MasterChef Australia* in 2027, Australian broadcaster Network 10 announced Tuesday.
Network 10 described Meghan as a “special guest” who will work alongside host and *MasterChef Australia* judge Poh Ling Yeow to guide the young contestants. The BBC and Sky News characterized the role as co-hosting, while further details about her participation and the broadcast schedule have not been announced.
“I had an incredible time with the whole team at *MasterChef* this past April, so when they approached me to come back and work with this young group of talent, it was an easy yes,” Meghan said. “I love cooking with my own kids, so seeing what these young stars create in the kitchen is going to be a lot of fun.”
Meghan appeared as a guest judge on *MasterChef Australia* in 2026. Paramount Australia and New Zealand said that episode attracted the programme’s largest Sunday audience since 2023.
Yeow said she was pleased to reunite with Meghan and welcomed the children’s competition’s return after six years. Produced by Endemol Shine Australia, the series will air on Network 10 next year.
