Flydubai Flight Diverted After Reported In-Flight Emergency
A Flydubai flight was diverted after what news reports described as a near-disaster aboard the aircraft. Details of the incident, including the flight’s route, the reason for the diversion and whether anyone was injured, were not reported in the available accounts.
Israeli outlet Walla reported that a passenger said they pulled the aircraft’s control yoke during the emergency, adding: “I knew to pull the control yoke because I’d watched Air Crash Investigation.” CNN also reported on the diverted flight, while The Atlantic characterized the episode as a near-disaster.
