The United Arab Emirates plans to invest a further €15 billion ($16.8 billion) in Greece through a joint initiative announced during Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed’s official visit to the country.
The plan expands a €4 billion initiative launched in May 2022, which the Abu Dhabi Media Office said has supported transactions in sectors including energy and health care. Sheikh Khaled and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis also discussed closer cooperation in energy, infrastructure, health care and advanced technology, as well as regional and international developments.
